Living in NYC, I have such a thing against bike riders, mostly because they ride on the sidewalks and through the streets like they’re Lance Armstrong training for a race, either almost slamming into pedestrians or almost getting turned into a splat on the street by cars or buses.
Here in Columbia it is against the law to ride a bike on the sidewalks. But even when cyclists ride on the streets sometimes some of them are very reckless. In two different incidents I was almost going to hit a cyclist because he didn’t stop. Both just appeared in front of my car out of a sudden. The problem is that U.S. streets are not designed for cyclists like in Europe and I think it is really dangerous for everyone.

I doubt theft or vandalism would happen in Islamic Malaysia, Turkey, or Indonesia but definitely in Arab countries where no one respects public (or private) property. Nothing is wrong with Islam.
I know the Europe is much better prepared for biking than here in the US. A shower? This is new. Man, you should start sharing with us your life experience over there. I would love to read and see some pictures. I love Celtic countries.

المشكلة إنه حتى ثقافة ركوب الدراجة مش موجودة من أصله عنا!! يعني تخيل لو واحد راح ع الجامعة ولا ع الشغل فيها ؟ بطلع مجنون رسمي!!

تصدقي اني احيانا لما اروح على صلاة الفجر بشوف ناس بتركض وبعده مش طالعه الشمس. بس معظم الناس بتطلع تركض او تلعب رياضه بعد ما يرجعوا من الشغل يعني بعد الخمسه. لعب الرياضه هون شيء موجود في ثقافتهم.ـ

One of the things that caught my attention here too [in Glasgow]
They even have showers (inside campus) for students near the bike parking space! Amazing.
